They have added levels for friendship with companions, is it possible to either get the code for friends to include companions or a separate companion boost to help with leveling our companion pets too?

thank you for the suggestion. Could you maybe provide us your savegame? We do not own a companion and this way we can take a look at the specific friendship level.
You should be able to find it here: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Gameloft\Disney Dreamlight Valley
Then you can open up a support ticket and attach a ZIP folder: https://www.plitch.com/en/support

Im not sure its in the same spot for me, I am playing via steam, and not sure where my steam folder saves as I have actually got 3 separate hard drives, bear with me while I search it out here, may take me a moment to find

There should be a Steam folder there with an ID (e.g. steam_76561198093233144_r). Ideally, we would need that entire folder.

Alright I created the ticket, first link I sent was what I thought was save file but your response asking for the folder I was able to compress that into a zip and send it on the same ticket as a reply

My critters btw are at their max level of 5 already, My reccomendation is to help anyone else working to get their critters to max friendship ( the friendship will go to level 10 eventually, they are just allowing us to get them to 5 right now.)

Thank you for the savegame. Although, if your companions are already at max level, that unfortunately limits our ability to create a cheat for the friendship level. I have another user who wanted to send us their savegame, so let's hope their companions are not max level :)
Otherwise, we would need to unlock the companions ourselves.
Edit: We've received another savegame and will try to look into a cheat for the companions :)
